Project brief

Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Pipelines Division is a pioneer in crude oil & product pipelines in India, with its first pipeline laid in early 60’s. The cross country pipelines network has now extended to 11,163 KM. One of Indian Oil’s major project is Paradip-Raipur-Ranchi Pipeline. The proposed pipeline would ensure the evacuation of Paradip Refinery products and uninterrupted supply to major parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh & Jharkhand. The project consists of laying of 1108 KM long product pipeline with intermediate pumping stations at Jatni & New Sambalpur and delivery stations at Jatni, Jharsuguda, Ranchi, Raipur & Korba.

Sterling and Wilson has been entrusted the work of constructing the 33/6.6 kV Switchyards along with control room building on turnkey basis for Jatni & New Sambalpur intermediate pumping stations.

Our Scope

2 X 8 MVA, 33/6.6 kV outdoor switchyard complete with control room building & allied civil works one located at Jatni & the other at New Sambalpur on turnkey basis.
