Indian Oil Corporation Limited strategically relocated its depots from densely populated areas of Ranchi, Jamshedpur & Dhanbad to safer locations in Khunti and Jasidih. The proposed oil terminal at Jasidih once ready, would receive fuel from a refinery at Paradip in Orissa through a pipe line from where it would be distributed to consumers across the state. The oil terminal at Jasidih is approximately 1.5 KM from Jasidih town & 1.2 KM from Jasidih railway station. Once the facility is set up, it will reduce pilferage of costly fuel and reduce the risks associated with plants located in populated areas.
Sterling and Wilson Ltd., has been entrusted the Electrification Work at Jasidih Terminal in the state of Jharkhand.
